The Dr. Brown's Double Electric Breast Pump was designed by lactation consultants and moms to feel like breastfeeding. Gentle compression is designed to help minimize tugging and pinching. Breastcups mimic baby's tongue and suckling motions, to encourage let-down. The Dr. Brown's Breast Pump is the only pump where the breast cup itself puffs in and out gently at the breast, extracting breast milk through a "push" rather than a tugging, "pull" motion that draws the nipple forward into the breast cup. The result is a more comfortable and productive pumping experience for nursing mothers. The difference is the breast cup membrane, a soft flexible cup whose diaphragmatic suckling action simulates baby's mouth and tongue.
