Our Service Areas
Since our founding, SunMED’s services have expanded nationwide. We have grown into a nationally-recognized leader in Lymphedema support, as well as providing segment-leading services in complex areas such as negative pressure wound care, light therapy, external cochlear sound processors and breast/mastectomy services.

SunMED expertise continues to expand with the addition of pioneering corporate services initiatives, including the Supplier National Access Program and the Wellcare for Women Group Benefits Program.

Our operations today are diversified, but our core purpose of providing next-level service underlies all that we do.

While other in-home medical equipment providers eliminate live support in favor of online administration only, SunMED continues to invest in and strengthen personal service through our extensive professional support team.

Our guiding principle for online automation implementation is patient benefit.

We have designed our systems to simplify the upfront order process but connect directly to our customer service team who stand instantly ready to work with therapists and to guide patients through the ordering and claims process. Our people are not order-takers. They are product and claim management subject matter experts that take ownership for creating patient value.

SunMED is a Medicare provider, holds over 200 insurance company contracts, multiple workers compensation contracts and is a Medicaid provider in 20 states.

We successfully submit and manage tens of thousands of medical equipment claims each year nationwide. As a result, SunMED is today one of the premier national in-home medical equipment claims experts in the country.

We use our expansive contract portfolio, and the depth of our claims experience to the advantage of our customers – both individual and corporate.
