Post-Surgical Services
SunMED’s women’s health services offer one of the country’s most extensive range of post-surgery garments, recommended for use after mastectomy, lumpectomy or reconstruction surgeries. Our product areas include:
- Radiation garments, including specially made bras and camisoles that are uniquely designed for softness and to keep seams and elastic bands away from irritated areas.
- Breast prosthesis and balance forms to achieve post-surgery symmetry.
- Non-surgical custom breast prostheses. Each prosthesis is hand-crafted and utilizes state-of-the art 3D scanning technology for superior accuracy to guarantee a well-fitting prosthesis.
New Mother Support
Our new mother support program gives mothers access to the right breastfeeding products and expert ordering guidance exactly at the time she most needs support.
SunMED provides best in class products, including breast pumps and accessories, nursing bras and support garments.
A Personal Touch Retail Division
SunMED extends our women’s health scope through our A Personal Touch Boutique Division, currently at 10 retail locations nationwide and growing.
A Personal Touch Boutiques create a safe and caring environment for women undergoing the transition from cancer diagnosis to survivorship; women who require compression garments for lymphedema and vascular edema; and women who are preparing to nurse a newborn.
Our boutiques, several of which are located in hospitals, are designed with a woman’s unique health needs in mind and are staffed by professionally trained are trained mastectomy, compression and nursing fitters.
Personal Touch Boutiques are Accredited Health Care Facilities that follow the same privacy practices and regulations as hospital facilities.
